When I think of peace, world peace comes to mind. If violence around the world were to end today, jobs that dealt with crime and war would no longer hold value, and countries would stop focusing on war and focus on technological advances to improve everyday life. Technological advances have increased rapidly over the past years because of the information highway known today as the internet. The internet has allowed people to share inventions and ideas instantly. If world peace existed the rate of inventions would increase even more because of new ideas and improvements on exiting inventions would be shared on a larger scale. The world’s greatest minds would be able to get their hands on the most recent and up to date technology. The possibilities would be endless.
Wow. That's true. If there was no violence in the world many individuals would be put out of jobs such as soldiers ect. But i think it be much nicer for them to have to do other things such as attending school to persuit medicine or accountants. They will be in a better and safer enviroment with tranquility.

ReplyDeleteI agree with some points as well as disagree; some of the advancments on technology that we have today have come from advancments in military technology such as airplanes, etc. But it is a good way to see peace as, good job.
ReplyDeletei hadn't thought of that possibility! Thats is really interesting, thinking about it... we would work as a large team to make more differences in the world. We would put different ideas together to invent new items that could help to make improvement in our world. By not supporting the violence that happen around the world we can concentrate in other important stuff that matter.
ReplyDeleteWow that is so amazing and true. It is true that many people and countrys can get together to invent the most amazing technology! If we were to get all the smartest people in the countries together we could invent space ships that can travel far and fast or even invent cars that run with recyleable elements maybe we need peace in order to advance our technology.
ReplyDeleteYour so right when you say that if the violence ended today that there would be no more jobs for the people who deal with crime and war. I never thought about that. Your post is good because it points out a lot of things that I think many people, including myself have not thought about.
